Although cheese fondue has been a specialty of our dear Alpine mountains since antiquity, it is our friends from Quebec who invented THE Gin fondue.
More precisely the company 1001 fondues which launched a novelty in its “CHIC” range!
A tasty fondue concocted with cheese from Quebec artisans as well as violet gin from the Mariana distillery. And after tasting we would like to tell you that the entire TheGinAddict team was won over by it (we still have a Swiss and a Savoy in the Team)!
Indeed, it is rather the aromatics which give a delicate and slightly floral taste to the fondue rather than the taste of the gin itself which is not very present. I assure you you can always have fun replacing white wine with gin when cooking!
