Inspired by local know-how, Comte de Grasse combines traditional techniques from perfumery with modern distillation techniques in order to reinvent the concept of high-end spirits. The distillery is an old perfumery dating from the 19th century, ancestral home of Bertrand Roure & Fils. The building dates from 1820, traditional on the outside, modernity reigns inside. Comte de Grasse meticulously transforms and restores this former perfume factory into a center of innovation where traditional extraction methods combine with modern distillation methods - the iconic red brick fireplace will continue to watch over the landscape of Provence, a proud symbol of our tradition, but also of the future.
44 ° N, which evokes the 44th parallel north passing not far from Grasse, is a gin that combines modern distillation methods and traditional perfumery extraction techniques: ultrasonic maceration, vacuum distillation then extraction with supercritical CO2.
