Gin from Binche

49.00

Gin de Binche has a beautiful floral attack followed by a herbaceous touch supported by the juniper berry. The finish on the palate is delicate and marked by the finesse of blood orange.

Our advice is to taste it with a neutral tonic, but with natural flavors.

The result is a unique, sweet, tasty and very aromatic gin!

Description

Origin

The design of the bottle is a tribute to the city of Binche, known worldwide for its carnival and its architectural heritage.

The note "blood orange" is a reference to the offering made by Gilles, king of the carnival, on Shrove Tuesday in Binche.

The Lion and the silver color are found on the old coat of arms as well as on the flag of the city of Binche.

This original gin is designed, distilled and bottled in the Walloon Region.

A Binchois heritage under construction A “tale of facts” and a local 100% adventure! Since the creation of their famous Gin de Binche, Jérôme and Céline Urbain-Harvengt, two lovers of their city, have distilled their common passion for spirits of gastronomic quality… and of geographical proximity. One evening in March 2017, the word game was launched during a meeting between friends: Gin de Binche! The formula amused the gallery so much for the reference to the famous Gille de Binche that Jérôme and his wife Céline decided to create this new brand of gin. After 9 months of gestation, the flash of folk genius will give birth to a real commercial success. A (good) living tribute to Binchois folklore, the alcohol produced by a master distiller lets the aromas of blood orange dominate. Even the bottle borrows the shape of the cobblestones of the famous city of the Ramparts.
